When Friendship Flips

Me:

Justin:
I usually find things like this entertaining.
I'm going to confess, I don't get it.

Me:
It's a trap, Justin.
A huge trap.
Every time you get an achievement, they show another one you can get.

Justin:
Have you fallen for it?

Me:
I believe it is an experiment they wanted to try, honestly.
I got up to 500 cookies, then an achievement for 10,000 popped up.
I would have maybe gone back to try for 3,000 later, just to see if I could do it, but I decided I would not commit myself to more. Because I know it wouldn't be just one more.

Justin:
Aren't you kind of wondering what you get at 10k?

Me:
Of course I'm curious. But I already know what it will be.
It went from 10 to 100 to 500 to 3,000 to 10,000.
The next logic step would be 50,000.
And every time, they'd be all, "Well, I got this far, why wouldn't I finish?"
Because I don't need to.
#wise

Justin:
Maybe the game changes then.
Maybe you should just commit and get there.
Can you hit return instead of click? You could get to 10k easy.

Me:
You are such a little devil, Justin.

Justin:
I'm curious.
And it surprises me a bit.

Me:
You are the bubble in Usagi's head.

Justin:
Yes, yes I am.
I just didn't picture you as a quitter.

Me:
I'm not.
I just know when to quit.
I have a good balance.

Justin:
"know when to quit" = quitter
What if at 10K you get something other than another achievement?

Me:
Why don't you find out? :)

Justin:
I just got an auto-clicker.
You need to spend some money.
Do it, Mallory.
Just get the auto-clicker and let it run.
Then click every now and again.
You'll have it by the end of the day.

Me:
Bahahahahahahahaha!
Isn't that fake winning?

Justin:
Have a total of five minutes invested.

Me:
Why don't YOU do it?!

Justin:
I am doing it.
I now have five clickers clicking every second.
And I am going to leave it all day.

Me:
OMFG

Justin:
I honestly think for a 20 minute investment in time, you could get it to be over 10k by the end of the day.
#addicted

Me:
*laughs*
I can't believe this.
I wish I were there to video record this going down.

Justin:
You're going to get me terminated.

Me:
I genuinely feel as if we have swapped places in our friendship roles.

Beach-Puma Halo Batman!

It's coming you guys. I mean, it's already the 25th here. But we still have to wait for this "world-wide release."

Halo 3.

I don't own a 360, though this doesn't mean I don't want to (Keal, why don't you just freaking get the Elite so you can give me your old one?!).

But I'm super stoked for the game to come out, and I'm hoping for some invite so I can watch the whole thing going down.

I've chosen to celebrate by watching many episodes of Red Vs. Blue. No one in my hall has a 360 with Halo on it. I had to explain to my Media Skills teacher "what Bungie was." And everyone else thought it already came out (don't test my skillz with a 'z'!!!!).

Now, I have to go work on my "homework," which is definitely not watching House. Or more Red Vs. Blue. DEFINITELY not....

Random Fact: “Halo 3” has more audio than 20 feature films combined, including the following:

* 39,000 lines of dialogue
* 13,000 sound effects
* Music totaling six hours of continuous play

Always Testing

Things have gone considerably better since the last I've written. I took the time to apologize to Clarie and try to explain my craziness (which, in my opinion, has no excuse...). All that can really be done is prove that I'm only crazy a quarter of the time. I'm thankful for understanding people; with being in a whole new country, people freaking out about papers and tests and then also getting ready to go on an adventure for only ten days, everyone is edgy (she explained). It's like a webpage that doesn't fully load at first. Just hit re-fresh and it'll be just fine.

Unless it's for freaking Linux. Fuck you, Linux.

Some of the greatest news is my papers I've been doing for classes. The media paper I did a few weeks ago, I got back and found I received an high B, the only reason for it not being higher because I don't know the New Zealand gaming media yet. From what I did receive, he said I had a very good information, detailed and clear.

The speech I did today on video game rating systems (and why parents shouldn't be angry at higher rated video games) went very well, seeing as I got the highest score in the class. I blended the ideals of how the rating systems work with the idea of it's really the parents who should be explaining the difference between fantasy and reality, then adding in a little of "maybe we should just get rid of the news and movies and television shows as well, if you're worried about violence."

Of course, all this is doing for me is the fact that, if I keep getting good grades with my video game ideals/writings, I'll keep leaning in towards the fact that I should be making my career out of such. It's something I know, obviously something I can do, and it'd be great to be in the field, meeting the people who make these god-like games.

Plus, I'm all for the fact that I'm a woman in the industry of video gaming. Boost of moral, definitely.

Now, it's on to a test, in which people are already cheating on (considering it's an online test). Unfortunately for me, I haven't bought the books for the class yet. Fortunately for me, everything is in the notes I've been taking (so the teacher claims). I'm more nervous on the fact that it's such a boring class, and very "Um... DUH." I may have accidentally blown something in the notes section, thinking it was mindless when it was actually something important (this is a shout out to all those teachers who cause students to have glazed eyes in the first three minutes of class...).

As it is, I'm confident I'll at least pass.

It also doesn't hurt that any grade I get in New Zealand bumps up to the next grade level when I transfer the grades. BOO-YAH!!

Simple & Clean

I don't think I've ever missed video games as much as I do now. Of course, listening to it's music doesn't help. But I can't help it.

In all reality, music makes the game. Or movie. If there weren't any music, I highly doubt things would be as scary/happy or any real feeling in the least. Even before we were able to record sound, people would play music with the picture.

It's just a trigger. Listening to Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts just makes me miss playing the fantasy world. Given, this is also giving me more and more creative being to stories--but, to be honest, I don't have much time for that. Travel writing won't really allow me to write about the traveling instances in which my character would romp around a mystical land, and Media Skills would doubtfully allow an article on... well, maybe it could use an article on why there are other games besides rugby (for the love of God, there is more than a rugby game!!!). As it is, I should really be enjoying the lovely around me.

But it's been rainy and windy. And during those times is the times when I'd make some good hot chocolate, popcorn and sit for a night with a friendly Mario.

There are very few people here to play video games, and if they do, it's normally the games I don't tend to play because I don't own an Xbox 360. I think it's more than time to invest.

Otherwise, I'm pretty excited for Australia. We only have ten days, but I know that we'll be visiting the zoo. I'm a little nervous about money, but when am I not?

I hate money.

And I hate the people that came up with it.

I'm giving love and luck to my brother, whom will be going to the tournament for Major League Gaming. I kinda wish I could be there for him, and see what it would be like, but I highly doubt he'd enjoy the "support." After all, I am his stupid sister.

Otherwise, they spell things with "ou" (as in colour) or "re" (as in centre). I've just realized how many Kiwis have asked me to spell something for them... and I've probably led them in the wrong direction because we spell things completely differently in the states (program = programme).

Poetry Sucks

Okay. Isn't that the coolest thing you ever did see? I could literally pimp anything I want to Zelda. Which I'm completely okay with (notice I'm showing all Wii items? I'm currently interested in if these guys have something more than this, like, maybe an original nintendo controller for the PC? Although, one has to say that it's pretty freaking sweet).

I've already got the clock my brother gave me for Christmas. So, now all I need is the DS, some silverware and plates, maybe a mug and, of course, the shower curtains. I'm sure I could come up with some comforters that would be sweet as, and maybe some new glasses or something.

All I know is that I want this, but I don't think I'll want to pay the price they want for it.

In other news, I've realized that I fucking hate poetry. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be this artsy chick who understands all that funk, but I don't like analyzing shit, and I don't like writing it either. I'm a bit more literal, material for novel writing, maybe making a few really beautiful sentences here and there to make something different. But full blown poetry? I don't think I have the stuff.

I ended up uses a few lines from some stories I'd written, and then using a passage in something I'd written as well. I don't feel as if it's cheating because prose is poetry, too, damn it, and just because I'd already written it doesn't mean I can't have people look over it to tell me how sucky it is.

-----------------------
Ones face equals a blank canvas.
Black elixir to embellish.
Enhancing cheeks with pink powder.
Green substance that makes ones eyes glow like a firefly’s bottom,
Attracting the fixation of potential males attention
Who latch to an enticing idea of a perfect face
For the night of exchanging dances.
In conflagration, they circle around, creating oddly formed circles,
Constantly shifting, molding,
Never making the perfect roundness a circle should have
Like the first attempts of a kindergartner.

For a week there after,
Every wrinkle and flaw reflects back
Until my judgemental gaze
Sees the beauty of au naturale.
-----------------------

Time Is Of The Essence

I think of all the impatient people in our line,
Staring at our motto
So long they begin to believe it themselves.
They begin to believe that,
In fact,
If they don’t have their coffee now,
They’re going to miss something.

By just not getting coffee at all,
They would be sure to not miss at least fifteen minutes of the day
By doing something else;
Five minutes in the shower,
Or making a proper breakfast.

And I think of those impatient people waiting in line
As we make their much needed cups of coffee,
But then,
Ever-so-often,
We get their orders wrong,
Making them wait even longer
For their liquid from heaven.

Making our motto completely hypocritical.
-----------------------

The first poem I actually just wrote, but I used more inspiration from a firefly story I'd written and some other thoughts I'd kept written down. It's supposed to be an "ode" to make-up, but I keep thinking it could be otherwise something else? I donno.

The second is actually two paragraphs I'd written for one of my stories, broken up and mutilated to fit perfectly into a frame of a poem. I think I like that one much more, considering I haven't a clue about coffee shops (I like hot cocoa, and I've never worked in one) and it's one of my favorite stories. I have to keep remembering that the class I'm in is a class for a reason, so I can learn. But everyone seems to already know everything about poems and how to write and are amazing at making something out of nothing, whereas I tend to try to pile something that comes out of my ass in hopes that it can at least pale in comparison to what they've created.

Thus, I hate poetry. Reading it can be fun, but it's hard for me to want to create something when people are already doing a fine job. I feel differently about novels and short stories, for some odd reason, though I'm sure someone would say the same about my choice of profession.

As it is, I'm leaving this for the others to show things to the public, while I'll be keeping most of my things hidden within my journal. Ode to the journal.

Holy Anti-Sleeping Pill Batman!

A lot of things have happened since I've last decided to update and actually go through with updating:

My neighbor's dog was hit by a car and killed, bringing back painful memories and a very deciding mind of what to do about them.

I've become increasingly cranky as I continue with graveshift job and other small job during day whilst slowly but surly gaining less and less sleep.

Entire family has played Mario Party 8 and we all very much so enjoy it (I like the haunted mansion best, personally... and that everything is insanely quicker than the last one I remembered, which is the 64 versions... wow, that game has come a long way!)

Have received passport (FINALLY) and am officially packing for the biggest event of my life---Will I become a Kiwi????

Have at least seen Mandikat twice (more than I ever thought this summer to see any of my friends, and I haven't even gone to see her yet, sadly enough).

Have been repeating three certain lines my father has proclaimed I say too much:

1) Boo-yah
2) Ridonculous
3) Hoy-oh

I know there are multiple, but let's just stick with these for now. #2 can be given credit to Shawn, a friend from an old job at Gamestop. #1 is Ali-G (I've shortened it), and #3 is definitely Mandikat's doing. I'm going to miss Balsam.

In recent news, I've come to the conclusion that I buy books to read two years later. I have read the same books over and over and over, multiple times for my favorite series. The newer books, or books that don't have a series, I usually, don't end up reading for some months, and they sit on my shelf until "I'm ready for something new."

I'm not quite sure what that means. I think I know that I'm going to the like the book eventually. It took me over a good year to get through Dhampir, if only because I couldn't seem, for the life of me, to get past some pages because I found them boring. I had the first three of the novels since 2005, and have finally started reading the second one again, but now I'm captured by the writings, finding myself very intrigued by the types of detail and how the authors manage to not only write it together, but have also managed to write a story about vampires/supernatural and not make it a complete love interest novel/saga. Given, I haven't read them all (I think there are three more novels out I don't have or something to that effect), but, the way things are going, I'll probably scream if Leesil doesn't freaking just tell Magiere that he loves her, because Magiere is obviously too strong-willed to do anything about it.

However, this means that it will occupy me enough until I can officially buy All Together Dead in paperback, though there are quite a few by Charlaine Harris I intend to get (her Grave Surprise series interest me, and there's a Sookie story or two I may be missing on the sidelines).

I'm debating whether or not to continue with my Dead Witch Walking series with For A Few Demons More. I started out with slowly but surely getting used to the writing, loving the humor (human's afraid of tomatoes!) and getting used to the different world, but then it got worse for me as I saw the books suddenly turn into a romance novel, and then started leaning towards more of a Lesbian thing. Now, don't get me wrong! I'm not against lesbians or anything, it's just that I suddenly found many things boring: the fact that Rachel just can't decide things about Ivy and a whole bloodlust feature I just don't think is my kind of thought on the whole "vampire deal." I suddenly stopped reading A Fistful of Charms because I could see where the whole sharing blood with Ivy thing was heading, and I couldn't get it why she just couldn't stay with Kisten, and then I realized the whole story was revolved around sex and maybe that's why I found it intellectually boring.

Then again, I'm not a lesbian. I've never gotten the whole thing with women, so suddenly sharing blood in that kind of way just had me blinking in what I call "why the hell would she suddenly do that?" kind of way. I'm sure I'll eventually crack open the book again to see what's happened, roll my eyes, then buy the next one in the series in hopes that Rachel has reached her sanity point again. I mean, who'd freaking give up Kisten? Honestly?

As it is, the new Harry Potter book is coming out and the bets are on for Harry dying. Not mine, but many others. I'm calling it a fifty-fifty, because it makes sense either way. If he dies, then there's no reason to continue the series, and it also means that Voldemort was killed, too (just like the prophecy says). If he lives, Voldemort still dies and it just means that Harry will live happily ever after with Ms. Ginny and, though the wizarding world is still up for grabs, at least everything else will still be answered. Either way, it's satisfying to me and it just means I can stop waiting in line for the book at 10PM to one in the morning because I want my book first. (What thing have I ever wanted the most have I not waited in line for?)

I hope I can stand in line in New Zealand. Hm.

Whelp, I'm going to try to catch some Z's before striding into my last day at work for both my jobs. Thank the lords it's my last day. I'm tired and would like to spend time with my family and friends before I embark on the greatest journey of my life.

My next entry could be from New Zealand. We'll see.

Three Girls, Two Cats And A Wii

That's pretty much what my apartment is made up of. Oh, and a comfy bed, huge bathroom and room mates who actually hang around and talk. It kind of reminds me of the time when my family moved this summer. Suddenly, all of the neighbors were coming over with brownies and saying hello, while I was creeped out by the whole business because the only neighbors I'd ever remembered tended to ignore us.

As it is, I'm proud to say that I'm now getting full rest, since I don't have to go all over the world to get internet somehow. It's sad for you, I know, that I'm not able to update (yeah, right), but it's odd to say that once I got internet, after being so used to being without it, I felt like I didn't have much to say anymore. I'm sure I'll break that within a few days.

Yesterday, I fixed my glasses, in which a screw had been lost in the airport in Minneapolis. Getting back from Vegas took it's toll on all of us, getting back around the three-thirty AM. I also got my Definitely Dead book in paperback, wanting to keep the series in the same state, only to realize that the next book, All Together Dead, is coming next month and I'll have to wait a whole year for it to come out on paperback... again. Damn! I only have to pay about five bucks with my discount for a paperback, but I really want that book! My Vampire Humor needs it's constant fix.

Also, during class to find a good Author Blog, I came across this. I think my favorite part is the wanted poster, if only because it says the reward is not only 100,000 bucks, but you can keep the blubber. Well, gee, thanks Mr. Openshaw! I have multiple uses for blubber!

As I'm sure some of you have heard, there's been a leak. I've been told that Bungie caught the guy who did it; he's been ripped away from playing the beta and Xbox live. I winced. If that isn't pain to the heart, I don't know what is. I'm not even sure if it was worth it. I mean, think about it. May 16th isn't that far away. Suck it up, brag about knowing all about it and make us suffer, rather than having to officially wait until November to play it. Though, I'm not complaining. It looks pretty fancy. I guess I misunderstood the way the bubble shield worked, though. It doesn't really move, only if it's down a hill or something. I kind of hoped it would follow around or something. Ah, well. Just another challenge to work around. Everything needs a balance.

Listening to this is my suitcase just brings back hope for good music to actually be on the radio; there's a reason why I rarely turn it on. People like Ashley and Zibra Zibra should be on more often. I'd be more amused and I don't think I'd be as sick of people doing the same thing over and over again. There's that one line that says "If it's working, why fix it?" But I don't care. Just because it's working doesn't mean that it's good.

As it is, I'm hungry. I also am in the mood for some Scrubs.

Did You Know That...

Subject Under Discussion.

I read this article in GameInformer around the beginning of this month. Needless to say, I was quite furious over the whole matter, sputtering to anyone at Gamestop who would listen, along with a few customers. It's rather ridiculous to have such a game made. But I think the quote that got me over the most was something to the effect of "maybe we're not ready in this time period or maybe we never will be."

All I could help but think is, "Who is the sick mofo who would even think of creating a game out of such an event?" (of course, I think this about war games, too, but that's because I very much so sick of how many come out)

I've never been one for people making money off of tragedy events. Such as painters creating a picture of an eagle flying with the Twin Towers in the background with smoke erupting from their stacks while spray painted hands are on either side of the event (it was hard not to barf). It's hard to respect someone willing to make millions because of it (I'm well aware of people who create things for non-profit).

Some people are saying that it's perfectly fine, that, by re-creating it, we'll have more knowledge of the event than what the media was ever giving us. That it's okay to have it because all we're doing is only playing the fantasy, pretending. Sure, that's what a videogame does. But I'm finding it hard to show that invisible line that the creators so obviously crossed.

A friend told me that when events like this happen, he can only say that he's happy to see our Freedom is being displayed. What reasons could I have that can go against the creators right to make this video game? I've never really been a fan of the Grand Theft Auto, as hilarious as it may be to get life by having sex with prostitutes (and then killing them to get your money back), but there are some pretty a-okay games that happen to be mature.

And, though I don't play many shooters myself, I know that I enjoy watching those kinds of movies; it gives a nice sense of tension, urgency and (oh god, yes) blood. For the Gods sake, I'm basically livid that I can't pick up God of War II because, during Spring Break, I'll be home and unable to pick up my prized possession. And I'll wholly admit that that game isn't exactly child friendly--ripping off a griffin's wing, or twisting an eyeball from the socket of a cyborg, definitly can be considered mature.

So, where do we place that line? How do we pick and choose what's allowed to come out and be sold in our Target/Walmart/Gamestop/gaming department? Does every single game have to be played by our government in order to be a "valid game"? This kind of goes against what I've ever wanted.

We're already at a point where mature material has to be purchased by a 17-year-old with an ID, adult games aren't sold in regular stores and many believe that playing video games is the devil (I can't wait to meet those on the petition... *cracks knuckles*). There could possibly be something in the very near future that says even Mature games can't be sold because too many kids are getting a hold of the mature games since nobody really check IDs anymore (Gamestop is very adament about us doing this now).

It could all really go against what video gaming is all about. For Gods sake, the reason why I even pick up that controller is because it allows me to go to another dimension, to be a character I've always wanted to play--it's like living in the novels I adore so much. But one cannot always have the same games over and over, which is why people started to make games more realistic, more like the real life events and closer to home.

I guess I can't help but wonder if the creator ever felt guilty while making this "scandal", the hardest game to play ever (and it's not because of the controls).

And really, in the end, it's the person who buys the game that makes the decision. If you're worried about your child playing a video game, make sure you know what they're playing, explain the rules of why you'd rather not have that material in the house, and make sure that you have legit reasons that also go toward the movies and television--why is it okay to watch the same violence that they'll play? There isn't really a good comeback for that. Not really.

Also, go crap yourself MAVAV. I'm not going to whip out a gun just because I happen to like a little plastic 3-D rectangle in my grasp. If you're going to start spouting that, may as well throw away multiple items of destruction (squirt guns, laser guns, water balloons, any Disney movie (holy hell, some of them have crazy enemies), and anything before the fifties). May as well cut anything out of the forties as well, given the whole WWII thing.

Skip-idie-do-da Skip-idie-ay

That's what the bird on my shoulder is saying.

If I were Happy Gilmore, I'd be saying "Skip-skip-skip-a-roo." (Did anyone get that? Just me? Okay.)

Sorry to the fellow classmates who I'm sure at this specific time are wondering if I'll come in those five minutes late and take the stress off their worried souls. I know you'll miss me, but, never fear, Morgan will be able to move on, so trust in his antics to guide you through a lesson you'll later have to tell me about.

Though, in my thought process, I don't believe in excuses for lateness/skipping because what it really comes down to is... you've skipped and/or are late. You could say whatever you want, but, in all reality, you should have been quicker or done things a bit earlier so it wouldn't have happened or just plain gone to class.

However, I'm going to say why I'm "skipping" anyways.

New Zealand demands a class sacrifice, and I had to choose what would be the one that had the most time to spare. On Monday's, I have a good few hours after this particular class, whereas I don't have a second to spare from my other classes. Decision was made; skip this class and have the good few hours behind it to really get the answers I know I'll need.

Wii Play is everything I dreamed and more. I'm completely addicted (surprise surprise) to the mini-game of finding the different Miis. This is the first time in my life I've actually wanted to live in the dorms so I can play against everyone (Anna doesn't play video games...).

Also, I've hurt my foot. It sucks because I kind of use it all the time. Like, every other step. I intend to suck it up.

In other news, since I've gone to the hockey games, I'm now back in love with the game. It's terrible. As I used the camera, I had to remember that I wasn't there to watch the game but tape it for those not able to be in the physical form to do so. As I did the highlights, I had to remind myself to write down those important parts I was screaming/jumping for joy at.

Yup, I'm definitely back in love with my sport. I only wish there could be more.

Best Things In Life Are Free (Except Video Games)

I've recently come into the knowledge that my brother got into the Halo 3 Beta. Picked out a crowd of how many to be able to try out Halo 3 in multiplayer to try out all of the new equipment, which includes a Spartan Laser, Bubble Shield and a Brute Spiker.

The gods have forsaken me, that I should not have a 360 at this time. I'm curious to see how this "Spartan Laser" shall work. I suppose it kind of reminds me of Star Wars, in a sense that they say any laser type thing wouldn't work because it wouldn't stop but keep going (such as a light sabers fate). But the Spartan Laser looks pretty BA, if I do say so myself. Along with the Bubble Shield. I don't think I've seen a cooler way to protect one's self since the first Matrix.

After Halo 3 (finish the fight, 2007!), what else is there to be excited for? Wii Play Wiimote (could there be extras for the Miis?), God of War II (Spring Break has a new meaning...), SSX Blur (same mountain... a little disappointed), Super Mario Galaxy (whoever's playing this sucks), Super Smash Brothers Brawl (I forgot about Adventure Mode), Crackdown (I'm still iffy on this one...), Paperboy (wait... I played this on old consoles).

So, there's a lot to look forward to, especially if you're me and you've only got one of the new leading systems: a Wii. Did you totally click on that Super Mario Galaxy? And Wii Play? I know, it's awesome.

Brought to you by Needs A Life.

Mobile blogging?

I can just see it now... A complete blog with condensed words like "lol", "pls" and bad spelling... on purpose. I've had it hard enough with IMing, if only because I don't believe in the "lazy" aspect. It's not even lazy anymore. It's habit. A new language I don't like. And to think this is our future, it makes me feel like those old people refusing to "get with the new". I'm still young! Don't let me be old already!

I've complained before, and I'll do it again: I want internet! I don't even care about television anymore. Heck, television has already made it on internet anyway. According to my Intro to Video teacher, it's what all the television companies are trying to be a part of anyways. But coming home to nothing... My Wii demands full usage.

I've just realized that Handbags And Gladrags = The Office Theme song. This saddens me that it took this long to realize. I feel depressed at my ignorance/slow-ability-to-realize-things. I blame this at the fact that I don't listen to Rod Stewart first hand.

Apparently, Halo 3 beta is being told to people, on whether or not they got in. And they're naming the e-mail "Halo 3 beta announcement". I'd be so excited for all those three seconds before it'd suddenly be "you didn't get in". That's cold.

Which brings me to my next point: Just go reserve Crackdown at Gamestop! For cereal! It's better to do now because it's only going to be the first shipment that'll have the Halo 3 beta on it, and the game is going to rock face. It comes out on the twentieth, if you're interested. Better to reserve than wait in line, that's what I say.

ISBDMH

If any of you want to take a guess at what I shortened, the comments are well opened for you to do so. I'm interested to see what people come up with.

Play DDR has always been a good past time of mine. I pwned (with a p, yes) the game and the pad, but then someone stole my game and someone ruined my pad. I've been reduced to only playing at the arcade or forcing a friend to letting me come over to enjoy their luxuries. Don't worry, I always give them things in return. Such as glomping, riceballs and Mallory Scarf (very much so copywrited).

But DDR in itself randomly become very popular. I mean, now there are tournaments. People lost weight at amazing rates. My friend Alex is living proof of having legs that somehow become their own beings when he's duking it out.

I think my new favorite is how people are able to put in a song and it makes a dance up to it (played via PC, of course). It's awesome to play any song I particularly enjoy, whether an anime or remixes of Captain Jack (rest in peace). It also tends to generate a good feeling. I usually end up laughing so hard that I can't even dance.

Of course, I'm extremely tired and also have a good few hours of homework left. Close to midnight and I don't care. Hanging out with friends in just as important to me as school.

Austra Learn called me to say that my application is in process. I'm extremely nervous, but I said that I was extremely excited for the opportunity, and I hoped that they would consider me for the Arts College I fell in love with (via internet). The woman told me she was excited for me, and said that this would be an experience I would never regret.

I'm taking it as a good chance I'll get in, but I've been promising me to not get my hopes up.

I'm still getting used to have four classes in a row on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It doesn't leave me much room to sit down and be calm, unlike the two hours inbetween for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

A heads up for readers that go to BSU: On Wednesdays in the Union, it's the best anything ever! Game day! They have boardgames, card games, checkers, chess, and even free popcorn! I absolutely adore game day. Especially the part where I drag random people to play Twister. Because, honestly. Twister.

I've been in the mood for ice cream for the past three weeks (believe it for not). I think that's my favorite thing to do at Gamestop (besides never feeling like I'm actually working): Trying to convince customers to go buy me some ice cream from Coldstone. It never works, but I did get a coffee from a guy once. Of course, that was because I jump started his car for him. But I'll count that so I feel special.

My next goal while working at Gamestop had been to get to E3, but that didn't work out to well, considering E3 probably won't be existing ever again. Depressing, yes. But all I really want is for freaking God of War II to come out. The gods have forsaken me by making come out on my birthday, which is during spring break, which means that I'll be home and not able to pick up my copy from Gamestop. Saddness, indeed.
